Study on the Relevance of GEF SGP Project Phase VI to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
This study is conducted to examine the contribution of the outcomes and impacts of the GEF SGP Project Phase VI (hereinafter referred to as the 'Project') to the achievement of the SDG, including contextual indicators developed by the Government of Indonesia. In order to assess this, the study will address the following questions:
- Is there a connection between the impacts and results and the indicators and outputs of the GEF SGP Project Phase VI and various SDG indicators? a. If so, what is the composition of the relevance of impacts, results, and indicators/outputs of the GEF SGP Project Phase VI with the pillars of SDG1?
b. If so, how many indicators or outputs are directly related and how many are indirectly related to the SDG?
c. What is the significance of the connection or relevance between the GEF SGP Project Phase VI and the SDG?
- 2. What follow-up actions are needed to address the connection or disconnection between the GEF SGP Project Phase VI and the SDG?
To answer the above questions, an analysis of the project framework document is conducted, consisting of two components: 17 targets (referred to as 'Indicators' in the project document) and 27 indicators (referred to as 'targets' in the project document) juxtaposed with the 17 goals, 169 targets, and 289 indicators of the SDG to produce a mapping of the connection and relevance between these two agendas.
