Komunitas Kupang Batanam terbentuk dari sebuah kepedulian untuk menyediakan pangan yang sehat, berdaulat dan dekat dengan rumah tangga. Hal ini lahir dari sebuah keprihatinan akan pola pertanian yang kurang memperhatikan input bagi tanaman seperti pupuk pabrik yang berlebihan, penggunaan pestisida yang lebih dari dosis untuk menghasilkan tanaman yang terlihat sehat namun sebenarnya membahayakan bagi kesehatan. Komunitas ini mengampanyekan tentang cara bercocok tanam di daerah perkotaan dengan pendekatan tanaman pekarangan. The film makers will assist the organisation to document its various projects activities through short documentaries. These short documentaries will form part of GEF SGP Indonesia’s project/programme documentaries portfolio.
