Seacrest Indonesia Dorong Pembentukan Kelompok Perempuan di Desa Ballu, Raijua

POS-KUPANG.COM– Seacrest Indonesia (SCI) melalui program kemitraan Global Environment Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP) UNDP memdorong pembentukan kelompok perempuan di Desa Ballu, Kecamatan Raijua, Kabupaten Sabu Raijua.

Perempuan sudah semestinya memiliki peranan penting dalam peningkatan perekonomian keluarga dan desa.

Hal inilah yang mendasari upaya Seacrest Indonesia (SCI) untuk mendorong keberanian perempuan di Desa Ballu untuk turut serta dalam peningkatan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan keluarga dan desa.

Demikian disampaikan perwakilan pengurus Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Kecamatan Raijua, Ambrosia S. N dalam sambutannya pada kegiatan di Desa Ballu pekan lalu.

Dalam rilis berita dari Seacrest Indonesia yang diterima Pos Kupang, Rabu 13 Maret 2024, Ambrosia mengatakan, perempuan baik ibu-ibu maupun gadis bujang yang belum berumah tangga sebenarnya memiliki potensi yang besar.

Ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampiannya sehingga dapat membantu dalam kesejahteraan keluarga dan lingkungan sekitarnya.

Menurutnya, perempuan di Raijua masih memiliki potensi untuk dapat mengeksplorasi produk-produk olahan laut yang bisa dijadikan sebagai variasi dalam menu harian rumah tangga maupun usaha rumah tangga.

Dalam pemaparannya Ambrosia mengingatkan kepada peserta dalam acara tersebut bahwa Desa Ballu yang merupakan salah satu desa dengan garis pantai di Kecamatan Raijua, Kabupaten Sabu Raijua, Provinsi NTT.
