Scope
The purpose of this assignment is to assist the SGP National Coordinator:
- manage and implement the GEF SGP-7 Indonesia communication strategy;
- assist with capacity building, program formulation, mechanisms, methods, and approaches related to communication, promotion, and midwifery campaigns at the regional and national levels based on the GEF SGP-7 Indonesia strategy.
- manage publications, documentation, and dissemination of communication materials at the national, provincial, and regional levels. Provide advice on how to manage the communication media created and become the responsibility of each partner at the site level.
- manage and maintain GEF SGP-7 Indonesia's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and website), including the content therein, as a means of project communication media.
- participate in the planning and supervision of communication-related programs together with program assistants and project implementers at the site level.
6. build partnerships with various stakeholders, including government, private sector, NGOs, and communities in the development of communication-related programs;
7. To provide necessary technical support to enhance the development and maintenance of communication-related databases.
Output
- Communication Strategy Plan updated quarterly;
- Grantee Partner Profile documentation;
- Leaflets, posters, fact sheets and other project-related publications created on an as-needed basis;
- Database of grantee partner site-level communication products;
- Videos and images of GEF SGP-7 Indonesia activities at local, national, and regional levels are available;
- GEF SGP Indonesia website and other social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter are effectively managed;
- Reports on the implementation of communication activities and financial reports.
Who can apply :All activities can be organized by national or local NGOs that are suitable and experienced as field capacity enhancement projects and funded by grants. Proposals will clearly present the applicant's experience with the issues to be addressed.
Competence:
- Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking, and expertise in managing communications strategies.
- Proven experience in working with community-led initiatives.
- Proven capacity to produce high-quality communications products and the ability to absorb, analyze, and synthesize large amounts of complex information and render them into communications products within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional writing skills on policy and communications materials for a variety of audiences, including civil society and policy makers.
