Nusa Penida is an island located southeast of Bali in Indonesia and is a district in the Klungkung Regency, which includes the neighboring small islands of Nusa Lembongan and twelve smaller islands. The Badung Strait separates the island from Bali. The interior of Nusa Penida is hilly, with a maximum elevation of 524 meters. It is drier compared to the nearby island of Bali. It is one of the main tourist destinations among the three Nusa islands and is rich in natural beauty.
