Objective 1
Increasing Human Resource Capacity in the field of Community-Based Ecotourism Marketing
Photo 1. The "Sero" tour package is one of the local resource management activities that will be developed as a Tour Package. There are 12 tour packages from 4 villages which will be developed as ecotourism products. (December 2019).
Photo 2. Tour Package "Snorkeling and Fish Archery". The community in Darawa Village utilizes marine resources sustainably as a source of livelihood. It is hoped that the tour packages can provide added value to the use of these natural resources. (December 2019).

One of the attractions of ecotourism on Kaledupa Island is the biodiversity of the Mangrove Ecosystem. The left photo is one of the animal activities in the mangrove forest of Sombano Village, and the right photo is a photo of the Kepodang bird (Oriolus chinensis) in Pajam Village (November 2019).
Objective 2
Strengthening the role of community-based ecotourism groups in ecotourism marketing activities
Photos 5 and 6. Workshop activities on strengthening management of community-based ecotourism marketing media on Kaledupa Island which was attended by 30 participants from 17 institutions with an interest in managing ecotourism on Kaledupa Island. Among others: SPTN 2 BTN Wakatobi, Sara Barata Kahedupa, Kaledupa District Government and Community Groups.
Objective 3
Creation of promotional media and knowledge products for community-based ecotourism marketing activities

The left photo is the process of taking and mapping the Batambawi cave as an ecotourism destination and the right photo is the result of taking promotional material for a snorkelling tour package on Kaleudupa Island. (October and November 2019).

- There is 1 document each on market research and analysis of ecotourism products on Kaledupa Island.
- There is 1 document of ecotourism stakeholder analysis on Kaledupa Island.
- There are 12 tour packages from 4 villages which will be developed as ecotourism activities based on local natural resource management on Kaledupa Island which have the potential to involve approximately 77 communities for all tour packages.
- There are 5 ecotourism groups at the village level and 1 ecotourism group at the island level that will participate in developing ecotourism packages.
- There is 1 formal initiation document for licensing tourist travel businesses and information providers in conservation areas for tour packages and ecotourism marketing media on Kaledupa Island.
PROJECT IMPACT

Photo 14. The negative impact that can arise from the development of ecotourism activities is the use of resources that do not apply the principles of sustainable development.

BEST EXPERIENCE
Photo 16. Exploration of tourist attraction locations allows for the development of other conservation initiatives, such as marine mammal conservation in the villages of Lentea and Darawa. (November 2019).
Photo 17. Economic development through ecotourism activities is like two sides of a coin. On the one hand, it provides opportunities for sustainable livelihoods from an economic perspective, but on the other hand, it can be a means to exploit limited resources. As is the case in Sama Bahari village, where limited water resources are not an obstacle for accommodation service providers to continue accepting tourists. (December 2019).
