Development of a Business Network for Processed Sorghum Products to Overcome Local Agricultural Problems Using a Massive Medium-Scale Marketing System

Specific Objective 1:
Carry out post-production efforts in the form of collaboration with related parties to packaging operations.

Marketing agricultural and processed sorghum products to maintain the sustainability of farmer groups in growing sorghum plants.

PROJECT OUTCOMES

  • A cooperation agreement was made with the Dalen Mesa community and the five farmer group partners.
  • The existence of BCV (Brand Core Value) from community sorghum products.
  • There is a Business Plan and BMC (Business Model Canvas) for marketing community sorghum products.
  • Increased yields from the sorghum cultivation process from previously only getting less than 200 kg to more than 2 tons.
  • There is an agreement regarding the quality of sorghum products that must be achieved.
  • Procurement of production and storage equipment as an effort to improve the quality of sorghum products.

  • Increased availability of storage and production facilities.
  • Availability of Standard Operating Procedures for storage and production in the community.
  • Expansion of the market for sorghum products produced from assisted communities.
  • Guaranteed sales of sorghum cultivation results by assisted communities through cooperation agreements.
