Dulohupa.id – The commemoration of National Education Day (Hardiknas) in 2022 is not only celebrated by students and teachers from state schools.

In Gorontalo Regency, the National Education Day commemoration was also commemorated by the Pelehu Village School together with Karang Taruna and the Juriya Village Government.

A number of competitions involving children were held to explore students’ potential.

“There are various activities that we do, such as coloring competitions and little soccer competitions,” said Ronaldo Iti as Coordinator of the Pelehu Village School.

Not only to explore the potential of children in the village, these competitions aimed at children aim to increase the courage and self-confidence of the participants to appear in public.

“We also hope that this can increase enthusiasm for learning, especially for the Pelehu Village School participants and the Juriya Village community,” continued Iti.

Apart from commemorating National Education Day which falls on May 2, this activity was also carried out to enliven the Ketupat Eid celebration which has not been held for several years.

“The community is very enthusiastic, because apart from commemorating National Education Day, this is also still in the momentum of Eid Ketupat,” he said.
