BEST EXPERIENCE
- At first there was skepticism from residents regarding the ability of their land to produce crops. Apart from that, the weather on the island is very hot and experiences a long dry season. However, hard work pays off, families who are serious about caring for and managing their gardens can produce harvests. (Photo 12).
- The enthusiasm of the women's group is very great, especially in post-harvest product processing. They realize the potential for product sales to meet the needs and welfare of families. (Photo 13).
- Participated in the 2019 Nusa Penida Festival and received direct responses from the public and tourists regarding the products being marketed. Apart from that, we also received requests to improve product quality so that it could be marketed to a wider area (Photo 14).
PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY
- Sustainability of activities is handed over to the village government to develop: conservation of local plants (nurseries), etc. In particular, with the potential of BUMDes, the Village can strive to develop village potential to support the welfare of residents.
- There are post-harvest products that have been successfully produced by the community (VCO, dried spices, chips) which require a quality improvement process so the next step is to seek national certification.
