PROJECT IMPACT
- The community can now make infiltration holes independently in the village.
- Villages have begun to include conservation issues in the Village Government Work Plan.
- Initially, people only knew about using water but never thought about conservation. With this project, through continuous outreach, the community has begun to understand that water that is continuously used without conservation will definitely run out.
PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY
There are two Approach Models used to support the sustainability of activities related to sustainable Water Governance
- Sustainability Approach Model through key actors in the field. They are the ones who will trigger and encourage sustainable water governance activities in the community.
- Approach through Regulation, this approach is encouraged by the village government to include water management activities in the village government work plan to be budgeted through the Village Fund.
There are several other activities that might be able to encourage the sustainability of the program which are currently being carried out, namely encouraging the existence of regulations in villages that regulate clean water management.
There are three villages that are temporarily being encouraged
- Hansisi Village
As a concrete form of sustainability of work in the field, we ensure that villages have regulations that bind the community to manage water properly and correctly. - Uiasa Village
There are village regulations regarding spring protection. This regulation is considered very important because the community considers the Uiasa spring to be a wealth that must be preserved by all parties in Uiasa Village. - Batu Inan Village
There is a Decree from the Head of Batu Inan Village regarding Planting and Water Harvesting.
