SDG 3: Good Health and Well-beingSDG 6: Clean Water and SanitationSDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

Theme overview

Waste management is still fragmented and depends on final disposal sites. Excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides damages soil microorganisms, making farmers increasingly dependent on chemical inputs.

Aligned with: Presidential Regulation 97/2017 on the National Policy and Strategy for Waste Management (target of 30% reduction and 70% handling) · Government Regulation 22/2021 · Ministry of Agriculture Sustainable Agriculture Action Plan · Stockholm Convention National Implementation Plan
